Handmade Bubble Bars

Aren't these fun?  I made them last night.

I make Bubble Rubble for Product Body, and it is hunks and chunks of bubble bars broken up and sold in a jar.  I have been thinking more and more about minimizing packaging as well as offering single use items for less.  I decided to try them out as single bubble bars and put them up on my Etsy shop.  So far my Etsy shop has pulled in ZERO dollars.  Each bar is 3 ounces, scented with essential oils of lemon and orange and I'm charging only $4.50 each.  One bar will create huge amounts of bubbles for one bath, but can be broken up for two.

Puzzling.  I think the products I'm offering are so cute!

Yes, these look terrific. As far as Etsy...you can have SUPER products and still have no sales.

It seems the more items you list...the more sales. And if you keep listing each day, then sales would go up. Believe me I know. I haven't re-listed or repeated much~ so no sales. I just don't know how much effort I should put into this.

I have seen some soap makers with thousands of sales, and some with none...Again it's because the one with lots of sales~ just keep listing items (or adding) over & over to make the "shop" more visible and on the front several pages...

Joanna, I have 2 of your Etsy items in my shopping cart, but I am waiting for your strawberry-banana soap before I check out. So, hurry it up already, ok??? ;D

Once people figure out how awesome your products are, you are not going to be able to keep your shop filled up!

Oh yeah, forgot to say that the scent sounds amazing!

They look really nice, and yes they are going to sell. Add one listing every 2-3 days that should do the trick.

here is my thoughts, embellishments, double layered cutouts like one does with pastry on top. Flowers maybe contrasting colors.

Yummy - they look like marshmallows - those toxic coloured ones that taste like baby powder and engine oil. I'm sure they're much nicer!

Sharon, great idea. Embellishments. Lookout for more over the weekend, perhaps.

J - I LOVE your stuff. All of it. I would buy up your ESTY shop... if only I didn't have a stupid budget! :( I will be buying some soaps soon... very soon :)

Keep making fun products!

They are very cute. I was thinking marshmallows too....or cotton candy. I'd better stop and go make my oatmeal!

I would definitely buy this.
Etsy is a trip. But there seems to be some good advice from the others here on how to manage it and still see sales
