Some Changes

As companies grow, I notice that some expand their offerings and some trim the fat and hone in on a few products. Because we are a company that believes in making things fresh and keeping our customers happy, we have decided to trim the fat and hone in on what we believe are our best products so we can make them better every time we create a new batch. We will polish our skills every day. That way we won't spread ourselves too thin.

I believe we had spread ourselves too thin. We weren't making junk, but we were too busy making too much and I am ready to zone in and focus.

These are being discontinued immediately:
  • Coconut Milk Bath Soak
  • Whipped Shea Butter
  • Salt Snow
I understand if you all want to come after me with lit torches for discontinuing the Whipped Shea Butter, but I won't make it anymore. Our Creme Fresh is lovely and our Mama Bomb is very nourishing. I hope you can understand.

I am sorry :(

I do hope you enjoy our soaps. I will be adding more and more every month. Also, keep your eyes peeled for salt bars soon.....

:)

I completely understand. I too wonder about companies that offer 125 soaps in different frangrances. In the beginning I have struggled with what products will I for sure be making but now I feel confident in my product line! Good luck!!

Kara- my daughter loves it too. And another customer begs me. I will consider bringing it back....maybe for a limited time :)

Good for you, understanding when you're spread too thin and being brave enough to take a step back!

Salt bars???? oh joy, my favorite ;)
And YAY on the whipped Shea Butter! What a pain in the butt to make! Not making that anymore should give you enough time to take a vacation

trimming the fat is good-i'm in the process of re-assessing my own line. i've come to accept what i love isn't necessarily what the customer loves, and i'll be saying good-bye to quite a few personal faves myself...sniff

I am right with you on this post! I, too, am looking at ways to trim the fat. Too much of a selection weighs me down from carrying only the best of the best, and makes it difficult for customers to find just what they are looking for. Best wishes!!!

What?? I loooove your Whipped Shea! :) Really, I do, but I'm just kidding; you do whatever works best for you and your company.

I second the request for Lemon Pie Creme Fresh; I'm finishing up a jar and trying to make it last because it's so lovely.

BTW, your Ruby Rock Star Perfume Oil was my constant and much-loved companion on my 5-week vacation! xo

Oh no! Sorry, ignore the email I just sent. I had checked the blog a few weeks ago for news on the shea butter, and forgot to check back.
