Last week my dear daughter, Joanna, was at my house with the kids. I was showing her these new tools I bought at the hair salon store. One was a file that you use on your heels to scrape away dead and cracking skin, and the other was a heel renewing lotion that the salesperson said you apply at night and go to sleep with a pair of socks on. Joanna gave me a look that could freeze the Nile. "Mother, what do you think I sell. I sell lotions for dry skin, especially for the feet, such as Mama Bomb, Crush on You and the Ski Bomb thing (whatever it is called). These do the same thing, but much better."
I am having such a hard time understanding all the uses for Joanna's products. I am going to take a tutorial with her because I still am in the dark. I do promise I will get it one day. My granddaughter has gotten it. She will tell me which product to use for which problem. But I said to Joanna, "Your product does not say it is a heel healer." She rolled her eyes, turned and walked away muttering under her breath. Oh well.

LOL!! Your mom is funny! Ok, she may frustrate you at times, but I think that's the nature of the mother-child relationship. My mom drives me nuts, and I'm out to drive my sons crazy. ;D
If you need one more person to nag at your mom about your products, let me know. haha!
Now that is a funny story. That's part of the reason I love to visit your blog~ your stories!
Love to your Mom~ my own daughter has done a close second to your story~ Yep-mother/daughter thing.
hahahaha! I laughed so hard...its the plight of daughters everywhere = ) At least your mom hasn't signed up to sell Mary Kay!
The sad thing is, I still can't get my mom to consistently use my soap, I give her and my dad tons, and then find out that she gives it to people at her work.
OMG Trisha! Does she use Irish Spring or something?
Doh! I totally feel for you though I have completely the opposite problem. My Mother (bless her heart) tells everyone that everything I make is all natural and will cure just about everything.
I do love her for being so enthusiastic about my stuff though. =)
OMG..That is sooooo funny. I love how you acted like a 13 year old by rolling your eyes and walking away!! You crack me up girl! I guess we will always have "that" realtionship with our mothers! God love em!
The blend of mama bomb includes yummy coconut milk, oatmeal, baking soda and tapioca will leave your skin feeling like a baby's bottom. All natural (like every Mama Bomb product) and vegan, this coconut milk blend wil keep you coming back to the tub again and again, before and after becoming a mom. The coconut milk powder soothes and softens naturally while leaving your skin smelling like a hint of coconut heaven. Meanwhile the oatmeal helps soften and heal dry skin while it relieves rashes and irritations.

Joanna - it's even worse, dial, the gold colored bar. Also, at all the sinks in the house is dial liquid soap the gold only (cause mom can't stand the scent of the other ones).
;-) My mom does the same thing (I work for a natural soap company and she refuses to use their products, then buys chemically-laden things from the health food store). Basically, lotion is lotion - they are not all created equal, but you can put most lotions anywhere, except on your face. If it'll do your knees, elbows and cuticles, it'll probably heal your heels too!
Hilary.
Haa haa!!! good story.
