Amber Soap Name Chosen- New Contest!

Thank you for all of your input on name suggestions for our current Ambre de Nepal soap.  They names were very good, but Brad and I had too much fun re-naming this morning.

The new name is:

SHERPA SHERPA

amber vanilla shea butter soap

Now, because we didn't choose from the suggestions in the comment section of The Renaming, no one won a bar of soap, but we will give away a bar to the first person who guesses what the reference is to.  (Caution:  not a direct reference...more of an inspiration)

Ambre de Nepal Shea Butter Soap

This is an amazing scent that I have fallen in love with along with many others.  Let's have a contest!

Help us RE-name this scent.  This is a Magic Hands Workshop replica (she passed down her recipes to me), but the name doen't roll off my tongue and it doesn't fit to me.

The scent is rich amber with faint notes of a number of fragrances like a touch of baby powder, a sliver of burnt sugar, black vanilla and cardamom which puts me right over the edge which its earthy, grounding and exotic aroma.

Help me re-name it...I have so far:

Amber Cream

Rapture

Amber Crunch 

(but "Crunch" leaves me thinking of peanut brittle and it doesn't smell like that!)

Product Body Challenge Winner!

I had a poetry challenge.  The challenge was to write a poem about a Product Body product.  I think this one was a hard one for everyone.  It took a lot of guts for those of you who sent something in. I don't think I could have done it so well at all!

First, let me just say that I loved (!~!) all of them (all three).  I have to give the prize to Gena Kay! Carrie and Teresa, I love you guys and I loved the love.  They were such wonderful poems.  I will post them tomorrow, if that's okay.

Here is the poem that takes the cake:

3:10 to Yuzu 

Take three minutes or take ten, 
Then take ten more and start again.

Try a Japanese bathing tradition, 
Add yuzu fruit to your bath - or shower, 
One whiff of your yummy yuzu concoction, 
You'll witness the Product Body Power. 

The scent of this tangy oriental fruit, 
With skin of yellow or green. 
Transforms your skin into the most touchable, 
Anyone's ever seen.

Batches by the bunches,

Where is The Love?

The Product Body Challenge was a total flop. Other than the beautiful and talented Gena Kay, not one person wrote a poem to get the goodies. Shame. Gena's poem : 3:10 to Yuzu, is brilliant. I also loved that movie (3:10 to Yuma)

Perhaps poetry is not the outlet you all are inspired by. I'll have to think of new things soon, as I love to give stuff away!

The Product Body Challenge

Gena, the winner of the Photo Contest in October (see winning photo above), suggested that I run another contest. Hmmm, perhaps her Product stash is dwindling.

Gena: "I think you should have a poem writing contest similar to the Photo Contest. Contestants have to write a poem about Spring or Summer and their fav Product Body product. Fun!" I thought, poetry? Not sure if anyone would even try that. So I challenged her to start the ball rolling and this is her Product Body poem that has already won my heart.

I Even Confused Myself!

Free Stuff Free Stuff 2

In the last post, I created a contest for all my readers and Product Body users. I have asked everyone who uses Product Body or is planning to use it, to send us a picture of yourself or a friend with your favorite Product Body product.

It was pointed out to me by a very fine blogger, Meghan Greenhalgh of Faking Good Breeding that it might be nice for people to know what the free prize will be. I really thought it would be interesting to leave it up in the air, but I can see why someone would need the actual carrot to see as an incentive to continue walking forward. So, taking the advice of a dear blogger, here is the list of goodies: The amazing, fantastic Fresh Pumpkin Scrub which has not yet been released (9.5 ounces), Honey Vanilla Bean Scrub which has not yet been released (9.5 ounces), Mama Bomb belly balm (1.6 ounces), and a jumbo Sea Salt Bath (16 ounces -any scent we've got our hands on...list will be provided at the time of winning!!).

I will provide pictures once the Pumpkin and Honey scrubs are fully photographed and labels for the honey is complete. If you are having trouble deciding where to shoot, some suggestions are, but of course, not limited to: On the beach, in a boat, at the Grand Canyon, in a cave, under a waterfall, at work, in a bath, on the street, in a car, or a bar, in your house or on a mouse, by your cat or wearing a hat!

Again, snail mail or email is fine, although digital photos are easier-but anything you've got is fine! Looking forward to it, guys.
