My last post, "A Care PackageTo The Troops" needs an addendum. The brain behind the idea...

Our new intern, Alexandra, has been helping out here at Product Body and doing a great job. She is 14 years old and wanting to learn this bath and body business. (How lucky for us!) They recently moved back to the Tequesta/Jupiter area a couple of weeks ago.... how lucky for us that Alex wants to be involved in our operation?!

Yesterday, I asked her to think of something (promotion, sale, etc.) to highlight Independence Day in some way. She came up with the idea of sending a care package to the troops and then letting our customers have the opportunity to participate with their purchases. All Alex - what an awesome idea!! I have been thinking about the troops for a long while. I get choked up every Sunday when I watch This Week With George Stephanopolis when they run the list of all the fallen soldiers; In Memoriam.

Gives me chills every time.

Thank you, Alexandra for coming up with a great idea and giving me the opportunity to give back to the hard working young men and women who probably would LOVE a shower filled with treats from Product Body.

A Care Package To The Troops

We've decided to send a care package of our products to the servicemen and women stationed in the Middle East in the hope that it can provide them with a few moments of relaxation and luxury. Who wouldn't need a little pampering after being in the desert in one outfit, with one bar of soap?

So for the month of July, every time anyone makes a purchase on our website that totals $40 or more, we'll add another product to the box. If you want us to include a message from you, just put it in the comments field during checkout. We'll also list (first name, last initial and hometown unless you tell us otherwise) the name of every customer that helped make the box bigger.

So help us make them happy! They deserve it.

Cozy With Nap

Here I am  looking pretty relaxed and enjoying Christmas morning in my pajamas. My post All I Want For Christmas gave it all away and it clearly s-p-e-l-l-e-d it out for my husband.  I needed comfort for presents.... and I got it.  He gave me the Nap throw for my birthday (see pale blue right behind me?), and for Christmas, he got me the big pillow and eye mask which I think I was touching just about all day!  A slice of heaven just for me.  I do NOT consider myself materialistic, but material is different.  If it's not soft and comfortable, I can't wear it. Happy holidays, all.  I hope you are feeling as cozy as I am.

Vodka infused with pumpkin and spices. Drinks are getting so fancy, but I like the pumpkin twist. Wonder if it tastes any good. If you've tried it, please comment. We all want to know if it is delightful or just another marketing theme.

I absolutely LOVE candles! It's fun seeing them in unique vessels, like this teacup and saucer set. You can see them on Etsy at teacandles made by Christine of Vancouver. She scouts out vintage teacups, some with their saucer, some without. Vintage tea cups and candles? I think I'll have to purchase a few....

Ramen Necklace?

Pretty funny. Etsy seller, Danielle, makes her own jewelry with hand crafted polymer clay/paper. This little charmer is only one inch wide. The best part is that you can order the flavor you like for the Ramen! Chicken, beef or vegetable...

Other jewelry designs and dollhouse food in her Etsy shop are food related but get this.... a bunch of it is scented polymer!! So you can get Fluffer Nutter scented sandwich necklace charms or sugared donuts, bon bons, (below, Christina Hull might appreciate that!), and she even makes a scented lime margarita charm necklace.
Danielle started making miniature polymer desserts in January 2007. All this in such a short time! According to her shop, she will be making 1:12 scale dollhouse goodies. So either go to her Etsy shop here or to her ecommerce site here. They are truly cute.
