More Changes!

Oh we are full of them lately, you just aren't going to keep up with us...

No, we aren't trying to make you crazy, we are trying to make it better for everyone. We loved the pump bottle and we know you do too, but, the cost is just too high and they are more difficult for us to fill, leaving us to only offer you a very limited amount of scents, sooooooo.... we are going back to the jars. The pumps will be used for unscented only until our supply is depleted.

Other changes which I think you will LOVE: We will be adding more soaps and more fragrances very soon. If you haven't signed up for our newsletter, do so to get our up to the minute updates.

I will also post them here if you don't want any email from me.

Soaps currently available:

Black Pumpkin
Poison Apple
Ruby Red Rock Star
Sexy Laundry Day
Coco Java
Cubano
Smash Ball Sweets

On the curing rack:
Linzer cookies: Halloween
Spicy Chai Latte: November 5
New design! Ruby Red Rock Star November 18
Mar Bar: November 22

Have a great day!

Mama Bomb - POW!

I know I had the devastating news about discontinuing the whipped shea butter but I have good news on this fine morning....

We have begun to make Mama Bomb at the soap studio and it is wonderful. What? You didn't think I'd take a jar right off the top for my very own self? Pishaw! I put it on yesterday and this morning I am smoother than baby's skin.

Look at these butters:

Doesn't looking at it make you feel saved? Ahh, perhaps I look at it and start dreaming of being teeny tiny and climbing around the cocoa butter and then diving into the shea butter and then sliding right into the smoothitude of the macadamia nut butter. Oh heaven in a jar.

So whether you want to protect your skin this winter or you have a bun in the oven, Mama Bomb might help you rub out that tight, dry, itchy skin. Feel it nourish you. You know you want it.

(it's also good as a lip conditioner right before bed)

Catch it here

Some Changes

As companies grow, I notice that some expand their offerings and some trim the fat and hone in on a few products. Because we are a company that believes in making things fresh and keeping our customers happy, we have decided to trim the fat and hone in on what we believe are our best products so we can make them better every time we create a new batch. We will polish our skills every day. That way we won't spread ourselves too thin.

I believe we had spread ourselves too thin. We weren't making junk, but we were too busy making too much and I am ready to zone in and focus.

These are being discontinued immediately:
  • Coconut Milk Bath Soak
  • Whipped Shea Butter
  • Salt Snow
I understand if you all want to come after me with lit torches for discontinuing the Whipped Shea Butter, but I won't make it anymore. Our Creme Fresh is lovely and our Mama Bomb is very nourishing. I hope you can understand.

I am sorry :(

I do hope you enjoy our soaps. I will be adding more and more every month. Also, keep your eyes peeled for salt bars soon.....

Reducing Waste

As customers, you may have received a box from us that had an amazon.com swoop on the side or a Brambleberry box. We purchase shipping boxes so that we have the proper sized boxes to ship your orders in, however, our studio is half filled with boxes from all of the supplies that we order to make the products you order. It seems irresponsible to buy boxes and then recycle all the others and not reuse some that would work just fine, right?

So instead of buying boxes and recycling ALL the ones that come into our studio, we have made the decision that if an order fits perfectly into a box that is in-house, whether it has been shipped before or not, and it is in good, sturdy condition, we will use it. Or should I say, reuse it.

We have always tried to be environmentally responsible. We recycle, reuse when we can and we use sustainably grown organic palm oil in our soaps so that the orangutans aren't massacred. Please read this article if you haven't already, on the palm oil issue, especially if you soap with it.

If you get your order in a box from amazon.com, you were chosen to be a part of our reusing/recycling efforts. Be proud with us! And no, we don't use anything from amazon.com in our products, but my husband reviews things for them and loves books.

Just In Time For Halloween

Our Poison Apple soap made it into this Darkly Delicious & Yummily Macabre Halloween Treats Etsy Treasury. We love the spookies and Halloween is our favorite holiday.

Boo!
